Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of LexForge, operated by SyncLex OÜ. If you have questions, contact us before relying on the service.

1. Definitions
"Service" means the websites kohtuistungid.ee and lexforge.ee, including all content, features, and functionality provided therein.
"User" or "you" means any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.
"Account" means the registered user account created to access certain features of the Service.
"Content" means all text, data, information, graphics, and other materials available through the Service.
2. Description of the Service
The Service provides an accessible interface for viewing court hearing schedule information sourced from publicly available registries of the Republic of Estonia.
Features include search and filtering of hearing data, hearing status tracking with email notifications, AI-assisted inquiry tools, and statistical overviews of court hearing data.
The Service is designed to improve accessibility of public legal information.
3. Account Registration
Certain features of the Service require you to create an account by providing a valid email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You shall not: use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service; use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service except as expressly permitted; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Content, except as expressly permitted; use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe upon the rights of any third party; or circumvent any technical measures implemented to protect the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
All proprietary content, features, and functionality of the Service (including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos) are owned by SyncLex OÜ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Court hearing schedule data displayed on the Service originates from public registries and remains in the public domain to the extent provided by law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that: the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; the information displayed on the Service is complete, accurate, or up to date; or the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Court hearing information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. The AI-assisted features are informational tools and their outputs should not be relied upon as professional legal counsel. Users should consult qualified legal professionals for legal matters.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SYNCLEX OÜ, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, for access to the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SyncLex OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your use or misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or your infringement of any third-party rights.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those services.
10. Modifications to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.
We also reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of the Republic of Estonia, specifically Harju County Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SyncLex OÜ regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written.
